Ba.Zaar: Food Truck Project - 2014

Ba.Zaar is a Food Truck project that’s inspired by the Middle Eastern culture and cuisine. This project was realized in collaboration with the Association des Restaurateurs de Rue du Québec. The word Bazar refers to a market in the Middle East. That being said, it was important for this project to be able to create a design that reflects this theme. As one can see, Ba.Zaar has a unique exterior design that would make it stand out and speak for itself. On the inside, Ba.Zaar has all the necessary equipment to prepare a variety of Middle Eastern fast food meals.

However, due to the lack of space, the kitchen was designed in order to
accommodate the workers and make it easy to serve customers. In other words,
Ba.Zaar offers its employees the same quality of work that they would find in a
regular restaurant kitchen but in a Food Truck. This project lasted for 3 months. During the 3 months, my teammate and I
had to do some market research related to food trucks and ergonomic analysis with
actual food trucks employees. The conceptual part of this project was individual and lasted 3 weeks.

The kitchen is small but well equipped.
